No. MakerMettle provides operational and financial information about your maker business. It is not intended to replace professional accounting or tax advice.
Can I use MakerMettle without Etsy or Shopify?
Yes. Manual orders, products, materials, builds, finished goods, shipping and financial tools work without connecting a marketplace.
Does MakerMettle connect to Etsy?
Yes. MakerMettle includes Etsy connection and product-mapping functionality.
What about Shopify?
Yes. MakerMettle supports Shopify connection, product mapping, and syncing Shopify orders and financials into the MakerMettle workflow. Shopify requires the appropriate store/app configuration during setup.
Can MakerMettle track material conversions?
Yes. The MakerMettle User Guide will include step-by-step conversion examples for common maker materials.
What does MakerMettle cost?
During the Founding Maker launch, MakerMettle is $79 as a one-time purchase for the first 100 Founding Makers. The planned regular price after the Founding Maker launch is $119.
What do the first 100 Founding Makers receive?
Founding Makers receive MakerMettle V1, future V1 updates, and the upgrade to MakerMettle V2 at no additional charge. The V2 benefit applies to the next major MakerMettle software version; optional third-party services or features with separate provider costs may be offered separately.
Is there a subscription?
No recurring MakerMettle software subscription is required for the current V1 purchase. MakerMettle is sold as a one-time software license.
What kind of computer do I need?
MakerMettle is currently designed for Windows PCs and uses online activation.
